Adeline checked in to the hospital at about 9am this morning. She was in good spirits and ready to get the show on the road... until they started talking about the IV. That is her least favorite part. They agreed to give her the mask to put her to sleep and then put in the IV's after that. Good plan!
They were running a little behind, so surgery started at 11:30am. The screws came out easily and in one piece. It took about two hours. She is in recovery now and slowly waking up. Adeline is sore and on pain meds, but gets to come back to Sheridan late tonight.
